Q: We currently run a website, a specialty video streaming site. We’re out of space on our current server and looking for a new/better host.
What we’re looking for is approximately 150GB of hard drive space and about 1TB/month of transfer. This should play out to about 200-300 plays/month, at least initially.
What service plan would you recommend for us? Are there upgrade paths available as we grow? How long from the time we order until our server is ready to start migrating over the site?

Same day setup. There are several options on upgrades, including dedicated servers. Upgrades can occur at any time it's needed. Dedicated servers do require at least 24 hour notice and depending on specifications can take up to 72 hours to deploy. However, our shared servers can maintain your traffic during that time.
You might also want to explore MP4 which also plays in flash and can be compressed significantly.
