04-10-08 7:44pm Importing Quicktime into Flash Artifacting

I made a slideshow in iMovie and am attempting to get it on the web. I exported the slideshow to Quicktime (the Flash encoder in iMovie ང does not work). Then I encoded the Quicktime file with the Adobe Flash Video Encoder. The problem is each time a new photo comes up, it comes up out of focus, and then about a second into it it comes into focus and then it’s on to the next photo. I have tried to compress at both 400 kbps and 150 and the problem is basically identical – it gets no worse at the lower resolution.

The issue can be seen at: www.basmatiblues.com/vidtest.htm

Any help greatly appreciated!

In case anybody looks at this, perhaps this information would be helpful:
One file is 400 kbps one is 150 the 400 is 96 kbps stereo the 150 is 80 kbps stereo (mp3)

They both are:
Flash Player 8
Codec: On2 VP6
Key Frame Rate Placement automatic
Frame rate: same as source
640X480
